Owoeye Jesudumsin has emerged as the highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), recording 372 out of the maximum 400 points, outperforming other candidates across the country.

Jesudunsin, who hails from Ekiti State, applied for Medicine and Surgery, with the University of Lagos as her first institution of choice.
Other candidates who made the top 10 scorers include Enwere Ikenna from Imo State, who scored 370 out of a maximum of 400 marks. He applied for Computer Science at NILE University; Bamisile Emmanuel from Ondo State came third with 369 points out of a maximum of 400, and he applied for Software Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Olabiyisi Oluwatimileyin from Oyo State placed fourth with 368 out of a maximum of 400 points and applied for Mechatronics Engineering at Pan-Atlantic University; Victor-Onyeka Ifeanyi from Imo State had 368 to emerge joint fourth and applied for Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt.
Osagiobare Osahenrumwen from Edo State also scored 368 out of a maximum of 400 marks with the University of Benin as the institution of first choice and Mechanical Engineering as the course of choice; Ademiluyi Anthony, a native of Osun State, scored 368 as well and applied for Computer Engineering with the Obafemi Awolowo University as the institution of first choice.
Similarly, Azuike Anthony from Anambra State recorded a score of 368 out of a maximum of 400, and applied for Software Engineering at ABUAD; while Offorkile Okechukwu from Abia State got 367 out of a maximum of 400 points obtainable and applied for Computer Science.
Adebisi Sonari from Ogun State applied for Computer Science at Covenant University, and Umukoro Orhenevovwero from Delta State also got 367 with the University of Lagos as first choice and Electrical/Electronics Engineering as the course of choice.
Recall that JAMB earlier announced 150 out of a possible 400 score as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2026 academic session.
