As the cost of energy continues to rise on the back of ongoing Middle-East crisis, Resourcery and Mart Network Nigeria Ltd, has unveiled an actionable pathway for businesses in achieving energy efficiency and seamless connectivity.
This was unveiled during a recent roundtable on energy efficiency and seamless connectivity, with industry leaders hosted by Arista in partnership with Mart Networks and Resourcery, in Lagos.
Andrew Ejoh, managing director, Resourcery Plc, said the roundtable was essential to bring Nigerian businesses up to speed with the latest technological advancement in networking.
“Technology keeps moving, and if you don’t keep moving along with the technology, then you are going to fall by the wayside,” Ejoh said.
He further said that Arista is purpose built to help data centres and large corporations deal with latency, delays, and network glitches.
“If the equipment that is supposed to support your application is not up to standard, you start experiencing network failure,” Ejoh said.
Esther Oyedokun, country manager, Mart Network Nigeria Ltd., said Mart is the sole distributor of Arista, which is a networking brand in Nigeria.
Speaking on the Arista advantage, Oyedokun said that Arista’s Extensible Operating System (EOS) is a modern, programmable network operating system designed for data center, cloud, and campus environments.
“So, when you have a large space, whether in an academic environment like universities, financial institutions, it’s actually something that can be used,” she said.
She added that EOS was built on a single Linux-based image, which provides high availability, state-sharing architecture, and deep observability that allow for advanced automation and network-wide monitoring.
“It’s quite cheaper and it’s effective in terms of the quality of services,” Oyedokun said, adding that Arista offers good value with minimal funds compared to the other competitive brands.
Ify Chukwuma, head, business development, Resourcery Plc Group, said the company’s vision is to be Africa’s preferred provider of ICT solutions, with a mission to solve clients’ challenges.
According to her, Resourcery aligns its ICT solutions with what the business wants. He added that the company designs, builds, and supports clients with intelligent building solutions.
“We have a structured cabling and wireless solution. This is what most people know Resourcery for, but we’re much more than that,” Chukwuma said.
