The reality star said the outfit was intentional as it aligns with the theme of craftsmanship being celebrated at the awards ceremony.
Her appearance, however, quickly drew mixed reactions on social media, with clips from the red carpet showing her adjusting the outfit as she navigated the event space.
She also carried a jug prop, which she appeared to use as part of the conceptual styling.
The AMVCA 12 red carpet, as in previous editions, featured a range of bold fashion statements from celebrities, influencers, and film stars, with guests interpreting the theme of creativity and excellence in different artistic forms.
The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, organised by MultiChoice, recognise outstanding achievements in film, television, and digital content across Nigeria and the wider African entertainment industry.

Organisers also introduced two new regional categories, Best Indigenous Language Film (North Africa) and Best Indigenous Language Film (Central Africa), aimed at expanding the awards’ continental representation and spotlighting diverse African storytelling.
