According to Google, the system introduces agentic capabilities that allow devices to perform multi-step actions such as filling out forms, summarizing web content, managing everyday tasks, and interacting across apps with minimal user input.
A key feature of the rollout is deeper integration with Android services, including AI-powered autofill that draws context from apps like Gmail and Google Photos to complete tasks more efficiently.
The system also introduces improved voice and writing tools, including enhanced dictation and conversational assistance through new Gemini-powered features.
Google is also introducing generative interface tools, including the ability to create custom widgets using natural language prompts. This allows users to personalise their home screens with AI-generated layouts tailored to their daily routines and preferences.
Beyond smartphones, Gemini Intelligence will extend across Google’s ecosystem, including smart watches, cars, browsers, and upcoming laptop devices.
