The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two persons suspected of being connected with the killing of a 25-year-old man, Friday Isah, in Mubi North Local Government Area of the state.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by the command spokesman, Suleiman Nguroje, the incident occurred during a birthday party at Digil Ward, where the suspects allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife and fled the scene.

“Upon receipt of the report, operatives of the command attached to the Mubi North Divisional Headquarters promptly rushed to the scene and conveyed the victim to the Medical Facility for medical attention. Unfortunately, he was later confirmed dead by a medical doctor.”
“The suspects, Samson Elisha, 19years of Giye Digil, Mubi North LGA, and Ayuba Stephen of Dagala Digil 21years of Mubi North LGA, have since been arrested, while investigation is ongoing”
The Commissioner of Police, Kabir Umar, has directed the SCID to take over the case and ensure a diligent investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
The command reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring justice and urged residents to remain law-abiding and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station for prompt action.
