The First Lady of Nigeria and National Chairman, Renewed Hope Initiative, Oluremi Tinubu, will on Saturday flag off the All Progressives Congress women’s campaign rally for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election.

Oyebanji is seeking re-election in the Ekiti State governorship election, which the Independent National Electoral Commission has fixed for June 20.
The Special Adviser to the Governor in Media, Yinka Oyebode, said in a statement on Wednesday that as part of the one-day working visit of the President’s wife to Ekiti State, she would also inaugurate a newly built ICT Centre at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, which was facilitated by her Renewed Hope Initiative.
Oyebode stated, “During the visit, Senator Tinubu will also hold a meeting with Ekiti Obas under the aegis of the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers’ Council.”
He stated that Ekiti State First Lady, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, who would host the President’s wife, said: “adequate arrangements have been made to make the visit of the First Lady to the state a memorable one.”
Recall that Senator Tinubu, through her RHI, has carried out no fewer than 16 different interventions (including material and financial empowerment programmes) in Ekiti State between 2023 to date, targeting women, youths, students, farmers, vulnerable households, small-scale businesses and People with Disabilities.
