Obi said that he was in Bauchi State to seek and solicit the support and the cooperation of Governor Bala Mohammed, the State stakeholders and the good people of North-East in order to join hands and unite the Country.
“We want to have a United Country in order to build the future of our children, because the Country cannot continue the way it’s today for we’re headed in a wrong direction”, he said.
Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his appreciation to Peter Obi and his delegation for their visitation to the State, saying,:”We are really honoured and we will not take this visitation for granted.
“His excellency, Peter Obi and delegation are in Bauchi State not to ask us of anything, but to seek our partnership, synergy to rebuild the Country and to recreate the balance of power that our forefathers had created before which had been abandoned”.
The governor, however, promised on behalf of the good people of Bauchi State that they would look into the request of Peter Obi.
