Global sportswear giant Nike has teamed up with Nigerian artist Olaolu Akeredolu-Ale, popularly known as Slawn, for a special-edition collection for the Nigeria national team featuring a bold graffiti-inspired aesthetic.

However, the Super Eagles collection will not feature at the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the competition, which will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
The collection includes a special-edition jersey, T-shirt, hoodie and woven jackets featuring a custom graffiti-style Nike Swoosh and “NAIJA” text logo.
The collaboration blends Slawn’s chaotic graffiti-inspired style with the vibrant energy of the Nigeria national football team, creating what could become one of the year’s most eye-catching football collections.
Super Eagles players Samuel Chukwueze and Tolu Arokodare were part of the modelling team that unveiled the collection, alongside former captain Jay-Jay Okocha and veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo.
Earlier this year, Nike released a new Super Eagles jersey and training kit, which the team is currently using at the 2026 Unity Cup in London.
The home kit features a vibrant light green base with darker green panels and a subtle dotted fade pattern, accented by the crest of the Nigeria Football Federation and the Nike logo. The away jersey comes in a white base with subtle green patterns, including a swoosh-inspired design around the arms and sides.
It is the third kit Nike has produced for Nigeria in two years, with the current deal between both parties expected to expire this year. The partnership began in 2015 and was renewed in 2018 following the success of Nigeria’s iconic 2018 World Cup kit.
Since then, the Super Eagles have failed to qualify for two consecutive editions of the FIFA World Cup, with many fans still expressing disappointment over the latest setback.
