A statement issued on Friday by the LAWNA Territorial Press Secretary, Tunde Adebisi, said the event would feature revival services, Bible teachings, prayers, worship sessions and song ministrations.
According to the statement, the convention, under the leadership of the LAWNA Territorial Chairman, Pastor M. O. Ogunibe, is expected to attract thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and other countries, both physically and virtually.
It added that the President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Pastor Lawrence Oladele, alongside delegates from various territories within and outside Nigeria, would attend the convention.
The statement noted that the Golden Jubilee celebration would commemorate God’s faithfulness over the past 50 years, reflect on the territory’s growth and encourage believers to renew their commitment to Christian service and spiritual revival.
It further disclosed that a four-day ministers’ conference had preceded the convention from July 26 to 30 at the National Temple on the convention ground, where contemporary theological issues affecting the church would be discussed.
The church also announced that a pre-convention revival service was held during the week leading to the convention, with the National Evangelist, Pastor M. A. Oke, and other ministers expected to minister.
The chairman of the convention planning committee, Pastor P. O. Oloruntoba, assured participants that adequate arrangements had been made to ensure a successful and spiritually enriching convention.
