Ted Chinekezi, 23years old, and Jesse Chinekezi, 20 years old, are software programmers and co-owners of Avatar and Qantum AI Technologies Limited. The duo have launched Multiverse, a vibe coder that can be described as one of the most dynamic and agentic AI builders in the world. In this interview Ted Chinekezi, explained what differentiates Multiverse from other vibe coders, detailing the uniqueness of the product, its capacities and capabilities. He spoke with GODFREY OFURUM in Aba. Excerpts:
- +Chinekezi brothers taking the world by storm with Multiverse Agentic AI builder
- +What is Multiverse, how did It come about?
- +So, which among the above USPs of Multiverse placed it above other vibe coders?
Let me start by saying that it has been such a tough journey.
What is Multiverse, how did It come about?
Let me start by saying that it has been such a tough journey. We established our company in March 2025. The first product we built was a chatbot. We have been building Multiverse, our flagship product for some time. It’s a vibe coder, which simply means an AI builder.
What’s an AI builder? If I want to explain it clearly, it is simply an app (application) that can design software, build websites, build all kinds of apps and all manner of software programmes. Naturally, in traditional programming, it takes months and years to build some apps and code bases. But now, with AI apps, like Multiverse, all that is needed is to collect your prompt and instructions and put them into reality.
Whatever you ask it to do for you in terms of software, it’ll do it. You can demand a website for your law firm and build a website for your fashion line and an app that will track your speed limit. It’ll take the prompt and code. It codes in 12 programming languages. It writes those codes so quickly that in a matter of seconds, it can give you whatever prompt you asked for. Someone who’s not tech-inclined can actually build something as long as he has an idea of what he/she wants to build.
You don’t need to consult a tech developer. All you need to do is bring out your phone or whatever device you have, prompt it, and watch your idea come to life. Note that we’re not the first to create this type of vibe coder. We’re not even the first in Africa. There are other companies before us. So, this is not new. However, some things make the multiverse different and special.
So, what’s the difference between Multiverse and others like it. What is its unique selling propositions (USPs)?
Let me start with the sign language input. Unlike any other AI builder, Multiverse has sign language input. Those facing disabilities can equally make use of Multiverse to create something. You see, the user on the Multiverse camera can give a sign in language for the Multiverse camera to capture and create that idea into reality. Let me break it down: it uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and takes the sign language instructions and prompts and produce them. This is one smashing ability that Multiverse has.
Another thing is that Multiverse is equally conversational. You literally don’t need to type. You can give yourself instructions, through voice in about 16 languages, including major Nigerian languages, like Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba and Pidgin English, and interpret and produce them. That is to tell you that it breaks the barrier of literacy. All you need is an idea and a concept, and Multiverse will take you to your reality.
Multiverse equally has a marketing suite, where it can generate an advertisement banner for the ideas you’ve created. For instance, if you create a fashion website, it’ll immediately prompt itself to generate a branded banner for what you built instantly, and you can download it.
You don’t need to hire a developer to help you do that anymore. It has something we call the ‘marketing mode’. When you switch it on, it gives you a write-up to use for a proper introduction about your site. It is equally important to mention that Multiverse, unlike any other vibe coder, has five preview engines.
A preview engine is the part of the vibe coder that shows you what you’ve just built. Normally in other vibe coders, the preview engine can fail; it’s possible. It happens, and most times users will face some frictions previewing their apps. However, Multiverse is there to let you use up to five that’ll allow you to switch over to anyone if the previous one fails. It simply gives you comfort.
So, which among the above USPs of Multiverse placed it above other vibe coders?
Before we get to that, I must say that I’m not yet done giving you the difference between Multiverse and some AI builders out there. You see, one of the most unique things about Multiverse is that it has what is called the Multiverse Marketplace. This is where we changed the game entirely, so that even the multibillion-dollar companies in China, Europe and the US never saw it coming.
What we did here is that users can prompt the app in that marketplace and sell. It’s like your Jumia or any e-commerce place, but there, nobody is selling physical products. What you sell there are generated apps, websites and ideas. It makes the Multiverse have the opportunity to accommodate different kinds of users and allows these users to easily earn a living with their creative ingenuity. There are people who will use Multiverse to prompt for their personal needs.
There are also users who come to buy already-generated apps. They are not there because they want to build anything, but are around to see what other tech guys have built and buy from them. So, you just come here, scroll through, see the apps you like and negotiate to acquire them.
Note also that Multiverse equally has a feature called ‘community’ where all the developers, who signed into it can actually chat with each other to share ideas and post apps. It’s like a mini social media platform built inside the multiverse where developers interact and rob minds.
Don’t you think this marketplace calls for a serious security control mechanism?
Oh yes, you are correct. Although I’m not done stating the uniqueness of the multiverse, let me also touch on the control of the Multiverse marketplace, which is equal to the things that make it unique.
Multiverse has an escrow account. Breaking it down means I’m talking about a lawful monetary, or should I say, a financial arrangement online, where a neutral third party temporarily holds funds, assets, or documents on behalf of two other parties in e-commerce. Here, the products are heavily secured and can only be released to the receiving party once specific conditions or contractual obligations are met to everyone’s satisfaction. Its major objective is to remove the risk of a buyer paying, but never receiving the product or a seller handing over the product, but never getting his payment.
So, the escrow I’m talking about is simply an inbuilt platform, where the buyer and seller can interact safely and transact without scams or fraud. The buyer will pay, the escrow will hold the money, and the Multiverse Market will transmit and give the entire code base of that product to the buyer.
