Nigeria regained control in the second half and went ahead again in the 77th minute when Paul Onuachu calmly converted from the penalty spot to make it 2–1.
However, the Super Eagles were denied victory in stoppage time, as Wiśniewski struck in the 95th minute to level the game at 2–2 and secure a share of the spoils for Poland.
The result leaves both sides with positives to take from a tightly contested encounter that swung back and forth until the final whistle.
