The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is going tough with the aspirants for the State and National Assemblies’ tickets, following the directive that those without originals of their documents will not be screened at its National Headquarters, Abuja.

Recall that Ejimofor Opara, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, in a statement issued recently, stressed that there was no going back on the party’s decision.
“He that most go to equity must come with clean hands. Consequently, this is to inform all APGA Aspirants scheduled for the 2026 Screening Exercise that no aspirant shall be screened without the following documents.
“Original Certificate of your Highest academic qualification – for physical sighting.
“Original Permanent Voters Card (PVC) – for verification of membership and eligibility”, he said.
The party further warned that it would not accept affidavits in place of those documents.
“Photocopies or affidavits will not be accepted in place of originals. Any aspirant who fails to present both documents will not be admitted into the screening hall.
“Screening remains free of charge. Do not pay anyone under any guise. Please comply strictly to avoid disqualification at the gate,” he stated.
