The Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has appreciated the Federal Government over the ongoing projects of the North West Development Commission in Kano and other states in the Northwest.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for the interventions in the northwestern states through the NWDC.

This was contained in a statement on Saturday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad.
According to the statement, Yusuf gave the commendation when he received the Minister of State for Regional Development, Alhaji Uba Ahmad, who paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Kano.
“The North West Development Commission will surely continue to touch the lives of people in the region. We have seen several developments and interventions in the region; we have to thank Mr President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for this development,” the governor was quoted as saying.
Earlier in his remarks, the minister appreciated Yusuf for all his contributions and support to the commission.
He specifically commented on the Kano State Government for donating two hectares of land for the construction of the permanent site of the commission, as well as the vehicles donated to the NWDC.
He said the commission will continue to partner with the state government to ensure the interventions reach the people where it is meant to.
