This is according to Football Benchmark’s latest ranking of European football club valuations, which showed that the North London club moved up two places to fifth.
The valuation was based on financial data from the 2024/2025 season and does not include the expected revenue boost from Arsenal’s 2025/2026 Premier League title win.
The club is also set to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
According to Football Benchmark, Arsenal with a €4.9 billion valuation comes behind Manchester United, valued at €5.1 billion. The valuation brings Arsenal closer to the financial level traditionally occupied by Manchester United and Manchester City.
Manchester United has fallen outside the top three for the first time since Football Benchmark began compiling the rankings in 2016.
Football Benchmark also noted that Arsenal’s squad value increased by €246 million, further supporting the club’s rise in the valuation table.
Before winning the 2025/2026 Premier League title, Arsenal finished second in the 2024/2025 season, behind Liverpool and ahead of Manchester City.
The North London club ended the 2024/2025 campaign with 74 points.
Arsenal finished three points ahead of Manchester City and 10 points behind Liverpool that season.
The club went on to win the 2025/2026 Premier League title with a game to spare.
The title marked Arsenal’s first league triumph since the 2003/2004 season.
The victory ended a 22-year wait for the club and strengthened the sporting context behind its rising commercial and financial profile.
Football Benchmark said Arsenal’s enterprise value has almost tripled over the past decade, helped by substantial revenue growth and cost control.
The club is owned by US billionaire Stan Kroenke, whose sports portfolio also includes the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams.
Over the past decade, Arsenal’s enterprise value has risen by nearly 200%, outpacing several clubs at the top of the ranking.
However, its long-term growth remains below Paris Saint-Germain’s increase of more than 400%, supported by Qatar Sports Investments and Arctos Partners.
PSG, Arsenal’s opponent in the Champions League final, ranks eighth on Football Benchmark’s table despite playing in a relatively small 48,000-capacity stadium. The French club makes up for this by generating one of the highest average revenues per seat at €147, compared with €101 at Arsenal.
Arsenal had came close to winning the Premier League title three consecutive times in recent years before finally ending their long wait in the 2025/2026 season.
The club’s latest valuation rise comes at a significant moment, as Arsenal combines renewed domestic dominance with a chance to win the Champions League for the first time in its history.
