New Era Transport Services has commended Joseph Jayeoba on his promotion from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), saying it as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication, exemplary service and people-centered approach to policing.

Arogundade, represented by Okudere Kingsley, described Jayeoba as an officer whose commitment to justice, fairness, and humanity has earned him widespread admiration.
Having worked with Jayeoba for several years, he said the senior police officer consistently treats every individual with dignity, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, or social status.
“What stands out about Jayeoba is the human side of his policing. He believes in humanity and justice above every other consideration. Whenever he handles a matter, his focus is not on who brought the complaint but on ensuring that justice is served fairly,” Kingsley said.
He noted that Jayeoba’s values closely align with those of the Humanity Promoters Initiative, the company’s foundation, which places human dignity and compassion at the center of its activities.
According to him, this shared commitment inspired the foundation and New Era Transport Services to personally congratulate the newly promoted officer.
Kingsley also described the promotion as a positive development for the company, noting that Jayeoba has consistently remained accessible and responsive whenever New Era sought assistance on security-related matters.

Moshood Jimoh, assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2, while addressing the officers during the official decoration ceremony, reminded them that their promotion should not be viewed merely as a reward for past accomplishments but as a call to greater service and responsibility.
Jimoh urged them to demonstrate stronger leadership, integrity, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to public service as they assume their new ranks, stressing that they must continue to improve service delivery while upholding the highest ethical standards.
He encouraged them to see their elevation as motivation to work harder in protecting lives and property while strengthening policing across Lagos and Ogun state.
