Ariana Grande has rescheduled three concerts on her Eternal Sunshine Tour after production problems raised safety concerns.
Ariana Grande has rescheduled three concerts on her Eternal Sunshine Tour after production problems raised safety concerns. The changes affect one show in Brooklyn and two in Boston, while the rest of the tour will go ahead as planned.
The singer announced the changes on Instagram. Her July 12 show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn has been moved to July 14. Her July 22 and July 24 concerts at TD Garden in Boston will now take place on July 23 and July 26. Grande said the decision was made after production challenges came to light.
Barclays Center also confirmed the change, saying:
“Ariana Grande’s Brooklyn performance scheduled for Sunday, July 12 at Barclays Center has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 14 to ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended. The remaining Brooklyn shows will take place as originally scheduled.
We apologise for any inconvenience. All tickets will be honoured for the new date, and ticket holders will be contacted directly with additional information.”
Grande apologised to fans for the disruption.
“We are so sorry for these unfortunate scheduling changes. This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention.”
She said the decision was made to protect everyone involved and to make sure fans experience the concert as planned.
“The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run. Thank you so much for your understanding and I cannot wait to see you.”
Existing tickets will remain valid for the new dates, and ticket holders will receive more information from organisers.
The Eternal Sunshine Tour began earlier this month and marks Grande’s first headline tour since 2019. The tour supports her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, and will continue across North America before heading overseas later in the year.
