Rivers Women Declare Support For Tinubu, Fubara’s Second Term Bids

A coalition of Rivers women have endorsed President Tinubu and Governor Fubara for a second term, citing their “reform-driven leadership.”

A coalition of women under the banner Rivers Women Unite for SIM in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Women of Faith in Politics has declared strong support for President Bola Tinubu and Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for a second term in office.

The endorsement was made during a Praise Rally held in Rivers State, where the group described their decision as timely and necessary for the continuation of what they termed people-oriented and transformative governance at both national and state levels

According to the coalition, President Tinubu’s policy direction, particularly his efforts toward economic reforms, improved security, national stability, and sustainable development, formed a major basis for their support. They also praised Governor Fubara for his inclusive governance style, infrastructural drive, and focus on human capital development under what they described as a “Rivers First” agenda.

Speaking at the rally, the group emphasised their belief in divine guidance for leadership in the state and country, stating that their support was rooted in faith and hope for continued progress.

The women expressed optimism that both leaders would continue to pursue policies that promote prosperity, stability, and development across Nigeria and Rivers State. They further warned that discontinuity of ongoing reforms could hinder progress already recorded in key sectors.

Reaffirming their backing, the group commended both leaders for their efforts so far and encouraged them to remain steadfast, assuring them of continued support from Rivers women and faith-based women in politics across the state.
