BusinessDay had earlier reported that the party set up a convention planning committee chaired by Liyel Imoke, former governor of Cross River State.
In a list released on Sunday by Chinedu Idigo, ADC National Organising Secretary, the party increased the committee’s membership from 361 to 530.
However, Imoke and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, former governor of Sokoto State, were retained as chairman and vice chairman of the convention’s Central Coordination Committee, respectively. Ajuji Ahmed was named secretary.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had said it would no longer recognise the Mark-led lNWC of the party, citing an Appeal Court ruling as the basis for its position.
However, the Mark-led camp accused INEC of deliberately misinterpreting the judgement, and vowed to continue with its national convention and other internal processes.
The national convention is scheduled for April 14, 2026.
According to the 29-page document, the Central Coordination Committee, which has 22 members, includes Atiku and other key figures.
The delegates accreditation sub-committee, headed by Senator Austin Akobundu, has 77 members; the protocol sub-committee, led by Senator Dino Melaye, has 68 members; while the welfare sub-committee, chaired by Mamman Durkwa, comprises 55 members.

Meanwhile, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, said in a statement on Sunday that the expansion is aimed at strengthening coordination and ensuring a smooth and credible convention.
“The ADC urges all committee members to discharge their responsibilities with diligence and calls on stakeholders to support the process,” he said.
