The founder of Daily Life Savers International Foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Longevity Gold International, Great George Otosin, has continued to expand community-based wellness and humanitarian initiatives across several parts of Nigeria through campaigns centered on water awareness, rural outreach, and public health education.
Born on April 5, 1980, in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Otosin began his early education at Holy Child Primary School, Idua Eket, before proceeding to St. Francis Secondary School, Ikot Ataku.
He later pursued studies in Science Laboratory Technology at Trinity Polytechnic, Uyo, while also undertaking theological and ministry training through the International Bible Academy, USA, where he obtained certifications in ministry and applied theology.
Otosin’s interest in community health advocacy, according to associates, was shaped by personal experiences following the prolonged illness and eventual death of his father in 2006.
In interviews and public engagements, he has described the financial and emotional impact the experience had on his family, noting that it influenced his decision to focus on grassroots humanitarian support and health awareness initiatives.
His organization, Daily Life Savers International Foundation, was established in 2007 and has since carried out outreach activities in several Nigerian states, including Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Delta, and Kogi.
The foundation’s activities include food support programmes, borehole donation projects, accommodation assistance for vulnerable persons, public enlightenment campaigns, and wellness education initiatives in underserved communities.
The organization has also participated in outreach programmes in parts of Cameroon, according to statements released during some of its campaigns.
Speaking during a recent awareness programme in Uyo, Otosin said one of the major focus areas of the organization is promoting conversations around water quality and preventive health practices.
“We believe awareness and community education are important in improving public health outcomes, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare services remains limited,” he said.
Through Longevity Gold International, the organization also promotes wellness-related products associated with water enhancement and nutritional support.
Otosin, who is also involved in Christian ministry activities, has participated in seminars, public enlightenment campaigns, and faith-based outreach programmes in different communities.
Over the years, he has received recognition from community organizations, traditional institutions, and professional bodies for his humanitarian and social intervention efforts.
Among the recognitions cited by associates are awards connected to community development advocacy and humanitarian outreach initiatives in Nigeria and parts of Central Africa.
Observers say the growing attention around grassroots health advocacy and rural wellness campaigns reflects increasing interest in preventive healthcare conversations across local communities.
They note, however, that health-related claims associated with alternative wellness practices require verification through established medical and scientific institutions.//dailylifesavers.org/
