He said, “Anambra Patriots was established in 2024 as a support group for Governor Soludo. After successfully contributing to the governor’s re-election, we are now expanding our focus to champion the emergence of capable and credible individuals into the State House of Assembly.
“We are here today to endorse our own. They have been our members since 2024, and we have it in our characters to support our own. So there is no way we can support another person because the essence of joining a group is to be there for the group and the group in return be there for you.
“Anambra Patriots seeks to scrutinise any candidate vying for any position. We have a goal and if you derail, we issue you out of our organisation because the motto is ‘accountability and good governance’.
“We call ourselves the only support group, others are supported. Not only because of our financial prowess, but because of our numbers. These Anambra Patriots are in the 326 wards in 21 LGAs of the state and sponsored by ourselves.
“We are 20 executives per ward, showing you over eight thousand then add other members and you will see we are over 10,000. We don’t make noise, we act.”
While, emphasising on the importance of electing credible and people-oriented leaders in the upcoming elections, he urged members in both constituencies to rally behind the endorsed candidates, stating that their emergence would ensure effective representation and accelerated development.
