Governor Ademola Adeleke has congratulated former Governor of Osun State and ex-Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on the occasion of his 69th birthday, describing him as a courageous leader and an important figure in the political development of the state.

“Today, I celebrate my dear Egbon, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as he marks his 69th birthday.
“He is a man of conviction, vision, and uncommon energy, whose passion for service and commitment to societal advancement have earned him recognition and respect across Nigeria,” Adeleke said.
He added that despite political differences, Aregbesola’s impact on the development of Osun State remains significant and will be remembered in history.
“Ogbeni Aregbesola has, through decades of active public service, contributed immensely to the democratic growth and infrastructural development of Osun State and our nation.
“Regardless of political differences, history will always acknowledge his role and impact in shaping modern Osun,” Adeleke stated.
