Moremonee Launches Moremonee Student Community Program to Provide Loans, Jobs, and Scholarships to Students

The challenges facing the average Nigerian student extend far beyond the four walls of a lecture hall. From rising tuition costs to the uncertainty of the job market after graduation, students are constantly seeking platforms that offer more than just academic knowledge.
Responding directly to these needs, Moremonee, often called the bank of Gen Z for its focus on the younger generation, has officially launched the Moremonee Students Community (MSC). See the video here.
The MSC is a first-of-its-kind digital ecosystem built exclusively for Nigerian students. It serves as a unified hub where financial support, peer-to-peer networking, and professional development meet.
Recognizing that financial strain is a major cause of academic setbacks, the Moremonee Students Community offers members access to flexible student loans. These loans are specifically designed to cover school fees, research projects, and student-led businesses, featuring repayment plans that align with a student’s financial reality.
Furthermore, the platform is introducing a robust Scholarship and Educational Grants scheme. This includes merit-based awards for top-performing students and need-based support for those facing financial hardship, ensuring that no student is left behind due to a lack of funds.
The MSC isn’t just about immediate financial aid; it is focused on long-term success. The community features a Learning & Development Hub equipped with a catalog of video-based courses covering high-demand areas like technology, finance, and life skills.
To bridge the gap between school and the workplace, Moremonee has pledged to prioritize community members for job opportunities. Before looking elsewhere, the company will first consider MSC members for full-time and part-time roles. This initiative is complemented by Entrepreneurship Training, where industry experts will be sponsored to mentor students both online and through physical seminars on various campuses.
Moremonee is also introducing a way for students to earn while they learn. Through the Referral Earnings Program, members can earn ₦500 for every person they refer to the community using their unique code, with the potential to earn daily, as there’s no limit to what they can earn.
To foster healthy competition, a leaderboard system will track the most active and outstanding members. Those at the top will be rewarded with the opportunity to become official Moremonee Campus Ambassadors and will receive Branded Essentials, such as high-quality bags, journals, and starter kits to aid their studies.
Moremonee’s commitment to excellence is backed by global recognition for its impact on the financial landscape. The company was recently honored as the Innovative Firm of the Year at the African Development and Industrial Awards (AiCDA), a testament to its forward-thinking approach. Additionally, Moremonee’s dedication to helping users build wealth earned it the title of Best Savings Fintech App by the Legit Business Awards. These accolades reinforce the community’s mission: providing students with secure, award-winning tools to manage their finances and prepare for a successful future.
With the launch of the MSC, Moremonee is setting a new standard for how corporate organizations can support the educational sector. By combining financial tools with career-building opportunities, the platform is poised to become an essential digital tool for every Nigerian student.
