She launched the beauty line at a pop-up event held at Laura Beauty Store, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, reflecting growing interest in Nigeria’s cosmetics sector, where demand for locally inspired and inclusive products is reshaping competition.
The event drew entertainment and media personalities, including Don Jazzy, Mo Abudu, Kate Henshaw, Nancy Isime, Osas Ighodaro, Tolu “Toolz” Oniru, Waje, Bolanle Olukanni, alongside other industry stakeholders and guests.
The pop-up served as an introduction to the brand’s initial product line, focused on matte lipsticks and lip glosses.
Attendees engaged directly with the products in a structured showcase, providing a platform for interaction among guests, and beauty enthusiasts.
Speaking at the event, Alade said the brand was developed to address gaps in products suited to diverse skin tones and lifestyles, particularly for users seeking durability and versatility.
The event also featured brand collaborations, including product showcases from Luc Belaire, a French wine which provided beverages for guests, and presented its 1.5L Magnum bottles as part of its entry into Nigeria’s market for large-format sparkling wines.
Yem Beauty products are expected to be available online and at select retail outlets, including its launch partner store in Lekki.
