The Bauchi State governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Yakubu Adamu, has promised jobs and economic opportunities, education and healthcare, infrastructure, rural development, youth empowerment and inclusion, renewable energy and many more.

Adamu, who is the former commissioner of finance, said this during the presentation of flag of the party to him, which held at the Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu square, Government House Bauchi.

“To my fellow aspirants, I commend you for your dedication, capacity, and love for Bauchi State. And now that the contest is over and the real task begins,” he said.
He urged them to join hands with him, so as to be united in purpose, focused on the bigger goal, and committed to victory in the general election, come 2027.
He further said that “Bauchi State has come a long way. The foundation laid in the past 7 years is strong, visible, and impactful. We must protect it. We must build on it. And we must take it to the next level. This campaign will not be about division. It will be about continuity, progress, and shared prosperity.”
The governorship candidate, expressed his appreciation to the state governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for his belief and support for him and many others.
He added that Governor Bala recognised their potentials and brought them on board after relative scrutiny, also gave them responsibility beyond their imagination, mentored and prepare them for the challenges of leadership ahead.
He said that the governor’s legacies and wisdom inspired them to join the race to build on the tremendous achievements recorded in the past 7 years.
The governorship candidate, also expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the APM party, stakeholders, party men and women and all people of Bauchi State for putting their trust in him and making it possible.
