In a continued rollout of examination outcomes, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released additional results of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held on April 17 and April 18, encouraging applicants to check their scores.

According to a statement signed by Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s public communication advisor, on Sunday, more than 1.3 million results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, have now been made available for candidates to check.

Recall that Benjamin had earlier posted in his official X handle a statement informing candidates of the release of the results.
“Dear 2026 UTME candidates, the results of those who sat for the examination on Friday, 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, will be released within the next three hours. Please be prepared emotionally and mentally to check your results,” the statement reads.
JAMB instructs concerned candidates on how to view their results
“To view their results, candidates should send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone (SIM)number they used to register for the 2026 UTME,” the board stated.
The board had earlier released 632,752 results of candidates who sat the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026.In total, the board said it has released results for 1,897,692 applicants since the examination began on April 16.Meanwhile, the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination computer-based test (CBT) continues till Saturday, April 25, across the country.
Stakeholders and concerned parents have called on the board to consider rescheduling the examination for those candidates kidnapped along the Oturpo- Makurdi road, the girl discriminated against because she was wearing her hijab to the exam hall, and other candidates who were affected by technical glitches in their various centres.
